Welcome to a new site devoted to supporting creators, promoters and fans of Queer Women’s Media & Entertainment! And I can say with all honesty that most of us behind the scenes are at least two of the three.
With almost 30 years of experience in many aspects of LGBTQ+ media (journalist, columnist, writer and promoter), I plan to lead a team of very passionate women who want our voices to be heard and appreciated.
Our plan is to write articles and reviews about movies, film and comics. But we also want to include newer media formats such as webseries and podcasts and the classics of books, music and live entertainment. The time is right and we’ll be growing fast! Please show your support by liking us on Facebook for update notifications and spreading the word. (Yes, creating a twitter account is in progress.)
We plan to officially launch this site in September, but until then, we’ll be posting articles and reviews to test out the format and features of this website.
